We design Vibyly so you stay in control of your connections and your data. Below we explain what we collect, why we use it, and how you can manage your privacy while meeting people with confidence.

1. What We Collect

To make discovery and real-time conversation work, we collect: (a) Registration data (name, email, birthdate) to create your account; (b) Profile info (photos, bio, interests) so others can find relevant matches; (c) Location data used only for local discovery and only shared according to your settings; (d) Usage data to operate the service and improve recommendations. We do not collect sensitive personal categories (health, financial, biometric) unless you share them voluntarily.

2. Why We Use Your Data

We use data to enable discovery and messaging, to improve match relevance, to keep the community safe (fraud detection and moderation), and to provide support. We minimize processing and only keep data for the time needed to deliver these outcomes.

3. How We Share Data

Public profile fields (photo, name, bio) are visible according to your discovery settings. We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with trusted service providers (payments, hosting, analytics) who help operate the product, and we comply with legal requests when required.

4. Your Controls

You control how discoverable you are: adjust profile visibility, manage location permissions, export or delete your data, and deactivate your account. These settings let you meet people on your terms — privately, locally, or more openly when you choose.

5. Keeping Data Safe

We apply technical and organizational safeguards — encryption, access controls, and monitoring — to reduce the risk of unauthorized access. For messaging we support strong encryption options to protect your conversations.

6. How Long We Keep Data

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, and support safety. When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

7. Where We Process Data

Our systems are primarily hosted in the United States. Your information may be processed in other countries by our trusted providers — when that happens we use contractual and technical protections to safeguard your data.

8. Messages & Chat

To keep conversation history synced across devices and to support safety, chat data may be stored and processed on our servers. We offer end-to-end encryption options and limit access to message content according to your encryption settings and legal obligations.

10. Policy Updates
